The nice variety of references throughout the choices including Final Fantasy and Earthbound scenes made this one stand out a bit more from the previous, that including the daisy chain of bonuses for the sword medal increases the entertainment value playing for sure. A good positive step and would be nice to see even more variety added to any sequels.

Thanks! I'm quite proud of those two scenes

Ah well got to level 2 and then called it a day, there is an element of strategy which is nice to see with a game of this kind, having to trigger the horse by activating another trap so you could pass safely was a nice touch.

A fun game, would have been nicer to have full voice acting, but some voice acting is better than none.

A fun little game and pleasing to play, however the main flaw comes with how much the upgrades cost / how slowly you gain the gems. It could also do with a refund system. My main gripe I have with the game is Rarity, the game makes her out to be a good source of gems and so I bought her first, however the amount of gems she obtains combined with her low fighting ability makes her just a gem sink rather than a gem farmer. If Rarity is changed to make more gems, the gems overall made more abundant (not halving the amount after a victory) and the prices are reduced to make there no need to farm then this game would be a sure fit hit. However as it stands I sadly don't feel like playing past Discord (where I first had to begin farming due to the previous Rarity gem sink)

Nice remake, only played the game before on DK64 but it is similar for me which is good, it is more difficult however, but that is good imo. An easy mode might be good for people like me who fail though. Over all a very fun version of the game and nice to play it.

The amount of demanded farming at the very start of the game is a major let down for this flash, the fact you need to upgrade things like ammo and jump to make it further so close to the beginning just forces the player to need to farm the exact same area over and over. This is simply unnecessary and pushes players away rather than inviting them in. If you plan on making another sequel you should heavily consider not putting demanded upgrades in the first level.

A decent game, I enjoy the fact it is a 16bit take on it. However the edges of the screen where you can go could be more well defined, I found myself walking into what looked like an exit only to be unable to travel in that direction. As a whole a decent game, lacking in scares but that is to be expected with using a concept which doesn't really work in 2D, but it was still done to the best of what it could achieve which is better than expected.

Now waiting on an Atari version.

Bakariboss responds:

Hmmm Atari version...doable :)

Another amusing shark game, I enjoy the addition of attacking and boss fights to the usual jumping destruction. Being able to hold A down would have been nicer for the finger though but that is the only real improvement I can think of for it.

Fun and impressive, nothing overly amazing about it, but an enjoyable Zeldaish game which kept my attention through the whole game.

A beautiful game, at the same time sad. In the end I had to pick love, it is the only thing that would truly live on.

A would be game designer though procrastination is a cruel ally.
