The opening was good.

However this was lost at 0:44, the techno style instrument introduced there did not fit in the piece at all, and only made the whole piece worse.
However the circus style theme that came in at 0:16 was good, and this worked well. At 1:53, the plesant sound introduced was very good.

If you re-submitted this with taking out the techno instrument or altering it, then the piece will be much better.

Romwell responds:

Thanks ! I'll try replacing synth lead with brass or something softer, or play with it and see what I get.

One of the more random songs I have heard.

Fun and thrilling, the way you mixed them together created a style that I enjoy, and the songs that you chose to mix are actually good and work together like this.
Amusing and enjoyable, I liked it.

WritersBlock responds:

If you listen hard enough you can hear the vocals from stardust crazy.
And if you play it backwards, it syncs up with the wizard of oz! =D

That was very nice.

Though the opening was a bit to quiet, and so was the closing.

I could see the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver style behind some of this music, a good style especially if you are planning to make something with Vampires. The drum and the instrument behind it works perfectly together. The main problem is how the opening and start does last to long.

I enjoyed it overall.

Rottenbeard responds:

Thanks for the review. Glad it at least conjures up images of blood sucking monsters! ;).

The intro and outro are indeed long, they're intended to establish a desolate sounding mood prior to the introduction of the drums. I realize it won't be to a lot of peoples taste, but I like trying to meld soundscapeish ambient sort of stuff into other styles of music. Experimentation is how one learns!

Works well.

I especially like the opening 4 seconds, it fits perfectly in with the main theme.
The main theme itslef is perfectly looped throughout the remainder of the song, and it changes slightly with the electric sound in the background, this keeps the interest rather than loosing it via repetitive sounds.
Good work, I myself would think this has a slight futuristic feel to it.

Vultyrex responds:

Thank you. I'm thinking on expanding the actual song longer than what it really it. Maybe include some new transitioning as well.

haha, addicting.

Pure indulgence, great and addicting, holds a special place in my heart.
This reply needs more yiff.

Rad responds:

You're the Best Mike. Simply the best.

This sounds very good.

It has a great fighting style to it, it sounds great. I liked how you did all of it really, it has a rather simple yet complex feel to it.
I am now going to have a look for this "Baten Kaitos"
One flaw would be that it did not loop.
Great work, and keep it up.

Beartheshadows responds:

It would naturally loop, I just didn't feel like putting it in there. Thanks though. Glad you like it.

One of ther nicest pieces of music from FMA

Brilliant work, it sounds nice like the original, and of course it makes me feel like watching it again.
I liked the whole of this, the instruments you used were different yet it came out with a similar style, yet also at the same time very different, a good re-mix.

Rena...

Very good and funny, Nice use of Speakonia in there as well.
Rena...

Keep up the good work.

Little-Rena responds:

Thanks, lol.

It has a good style.

The first 10 seconds were very good, however the last 2 or 3 where you added the drum stlye instrument did not work well for the short time that they were on. You should have extended this for a bit longer, or took it out and left the frist part looping.

The sounds used were nice and strange yet gentle, with exception to the previously mentioned instrument.

It would be good to see more loops / songs in this style as it is nice.

Not sure whether it was due to this but an action script error occurred on the visualisation causing it to stop, it may just be a problem with the site though.

Keep up the good work.

Cyberdevil responds:

Thanks for the review! Much appriciated! :)

mmm Tetris

I like this remix, though there are many areas in between all the instruments that seem to act as if they did not know what the next note was, you should not make it sound so confussed.
Overall though this is a nice remix for tetris.

A would be game designer though procrastination is a cruel ally.
